Antler (unknown origin, rather similar to sambar - probably "escaped" from a zoo somewhere) and a mahogany-like burr wood.

Semi-stripped ash shank (ash has several distinct layers of differently-coloured bark - I took off the top two layers to get at this buff colour). A very robust market-type/walker's stick.
