021 - Red deer antler thumbstick head on a long hazel shank. This antler tip has only one tine, so it's not a conventional thumbstick. Nonetheless, when held like a thumbstick, the thumb nestles nicely in the channel leading up to the tip. The antler is again given the brass/resin treatment, highlighting the surface texture. The top of the shank was left slightly curved, carrying through the curve of the antler. SOLD |
