023 - A buffalo horn walker stick.

A medium-to-long silver hazel shank with a head made from a black buffalo-horn tip topped with a piece of banksia nut. The black and white colours echo the subject of the enamelled badge on the crown!

(The banksia nut is the seed case of a rather impressive but confused wild flowering plant native to Australia. It can't quite make up its mind whether it's a nut shell, a pine cone or just a lump of wood with holes in it.)

Nice for walking or support. Or just going down to the pub.
