031 - An elegant knobstick containing two Womblish elements.
The knob started life as a hollow fluted brass sphere, possibly from the end of
a curtain pole or maybe a bedstead. I filled it with epoxy filler for strength
and weight. The black melamine (or possibly Bakelite) collar was fashioned from
the top off an aftershave bottle, far too good to waste!
The shank is stripped hazel and will mature to a light buff colour when it's
been exposed to sunlight for a bit. A sturdy medium-weight stick.
