037 - Burr elm head on a blackthorn shank.

A medium-weight market stick to fit the smaller hand. I took a nicely-figured piece of burr elm and fashioned it into a market-stick handle with a turned-out spur on the nose. It's married to a fine blackthorn shank via an angled joint highlighted with a white-and-black spacer. The handle is reinforced with a steel rod inserted through the crown.
