062 - A thumbstick.
The head consists of two red deer antler tines joined via a piece of black
buffalo horn and set on a black buffalo horn base.
The shank is mottled silver/gold hazel.

I applied my usual distinctive technique, filling the surface texture with brass/copper-filled epoxy resin before smoothing down the surface. |
|
|
The joints are reinforced with steel pins, so the whole thing is pretty robust. |

The shape lends itself to use as a dual-purpose staff/thumbstick. On request, I could add some weight to the bottom end for use as a wading staff. |

A most unusual thumbstick. SOLD |
