My recent trip to a Haven caravan holiday park

Scotland is famous for its awesome scenery, spectacular heritage and vibrant culture. This year we were so lucky to visit this amazing place that absolutely does not keep you idle. The entire Scotland is packed with wonderful sights, brilliant moments and experiences that made out trip wholly enjoyable and memorable. The Scotland is a mini travel world that is filled with lonely landscapes, spectacular wildlife people, big skies and truly hospitable people around.

Scotland caravan holiday parksWe planned this year’s break with the Haven caravan holiday park at Seton Sands, Port Seton, and East Lothian. We got the best accommodation deal for our family. They gave us the best advice about travel in the place and some inspiring ideas of what to see and do. As we visited in the month of August it was just perfect to get the glimpse of the Edinburgh Festival that puts a spotlight on nation’s arts scene.

We had the deluxe caravan that had got the prestige 2 bed that was perfect for our family of 4. It came with very comfy furniture with a nice flat screen HD TV with DVD player. The shower was neat and tidy with sufficient space. The interior of caravan was spotless and cooking facilities was simply best. There were onsite restaurants the site was close to some wonderful beaches and in the midst of the Lothian countryside. Pools looked great but we never got the chance to use them as the beaches were our friends.

The Seton Sands was just a 30 minute drive from the Edinburgh coast. Other than the coast we got a chance to visit The Edinburgh Zoo, Museum of Childhood and also the National Museum of Flight. It was sheer magic to look at the august hills clad in purple heather turn their route to shafts of golden light.

Since it is beachside park, there is always untidiness with the sand around. Still, the friendly staff is hot in cleaning up this too. The outdoor adventure opportunity we got from the holiday park was commendable. Our energy was surprisingly high when we tried out the cycling, forest ranging, canoeing and other more activities.

Other than these there is plenty of stuff to do on the site as it has a huge golf area and play area along with many forms of entertainment. For a wildlife and photography lover like me, watching and capturing the golden eagles soar above the mountains of Northern Highlands was spectacular. The coast of Mull had the view of some minke whales breach through the shoals of mackerel.

Overall I am so happy to review this place the impression of which is just mind blowing on my family. A great family escapes for the people with a busy life.
