I really must congratulate you on the workmanship, easily equal to or better than any stick I've seen at far greater prices (some well into the hundreds).

My neighbor and his daughter oo-ed and aah-ed over it. Their cats thought it was pretty nice smelling too. Everyone who has seen it has been in awe over the workmanship. I can't wait to use it on its maiden walk. Thank you so much for bringing out the beauty of the wood. You are a true master of woodworking... I am honored to have a walking stick made by you.

Just wanted to know how much I enjoyed touring your website. It's one of the few that's outstanding in content AND presentation. I suppose there is some conflict between historic pursuits and modern technology (sticks and computers.)...Thanks again for the great site!

Just to let you know how thrilled I am with the thumbstick. It's really great, and the owl is quite luminous. I bet in umpty-nine years the Antiques Roadshow will be saying "Well, you've got an original Goddard there". I really don't know how to thank you for all the work and attention you put into it. It looks good in the pictures, too. I did manage to go for a short walk in between the rain on Sunday, and I'm looking forward to the next fine weekend.

I wanted you to know that I thoroughly enjoy my stick. You will never know how much I appreciate all the hard work that you put into it. ...you are a craftsman in every sense of the word and take great pride in your work.

I could not be more pleased with it. The stick is absolutely beautiful and everything you said it would be. The stripped sweet chestnut shank is exceptionally smooth and very beautiful. The antler handle is a pleasure to hold. It is very beautiful, very smooth and fits the hand perfectly. The lines of the stick are outstanding. The shank, the buffalo horn spacer/end cap, the Wren Farthing and the antler all work together exceptionally well. The stick is a work of art.

...The whole process, i.e. the shipping, the stick, the signature, the invoice and the care instructions are all first class.
